I don’t find ads about humanitarian crises annoying per se, but I don’t think I’d ever donate to the causes myself. At least not the way those things are currently set up

But my favorite type of ads are the ones that features Japan's crazy mascot, Chiitan!

I don't get YT ads anymore, but when I did, there was (used to be?) this ad for Amazon set to the song Ring My Bell. It wasn't the K-pop song, it was a pop hit from like the '70s. Anyway, it was a remix of that song, and they made the singer's voice sound like they'd inhaled too much helium... it was so funny! I couldn't find the actual video, but here's a TV version that plays the song I'm describing:


But nowadays, it's any ad I can immediately click out of. I don't find banner ads annoying as long as it's not invasive.
