that MV is really impressive! like SNSD's catch me if you can but with rolling in the mud included.

the song itself is not my thing, it feels more like a filler b-side as the melody doesn't really go anywhere and the chorus is way too repetitive. also the lyrics are laughably bad... i know that lyrical excellence is not exactly kpop's main selling point, but if i were giselle i simply wouldn't be able to sing some of the lines in her part without bursting out laughing

After watching the MV and deliberately paying attention to the song, I think it worked as "perfectly ignorable background noise" just fine.

omg where's the melody in those verses??? the chorus is at least melodic, I can tolerate the chorus - but the verses just seem like they took inspo from Bad Guy by Billie Eilish, a song she practically mumbles except for the DUH part before the beat drop. I'm sorry for being such an Idol-era Simon Cowell, but they've had soooooooooooooooooooo much better material in the past! I sure hope the rest of the album is better.
