I see the vision but repeating "I am a rich man" even during the verses is a near-fatal mistake. Given how low-key it is vocally, they probably could've done with a typical SM/NCT style bridge, as well, you know, with harmonies and whatnot.
Instrumental goes hard though.

Mmm not a fan of it. I dont like the lyrics, I get it but I just find ur weird for them to say they are rich men, again I get what they're trying to do, it just sounds weird to me

First things first (after listening to the song a few times). It's just my subjective opinion and I like other aespa songs very much.

The MV is good (like almost all aespa MVs)! The song is not good.

There are songwriters that would urge not to start a song with the chorus. 'Rich Man' is a good example why: there's no surprise effect anymore while the rest of the song isn't strong enough to compensate that missing part.
And why is that 'I am a rich man' vocal line all over the place? It's not even particularly catchy.

Maybe I'm too overcritical but aespa is no nugu group and they (more precise: their production team) already proved that they can do better.
By the way, why does a GG sing "I am a rich man?"

The problem is their high benchmark. A song like 'Supernova' is second to none. 3 minutes and 13 seconds of pure awesomeness!
Maybe I should stop comparing every other aespa song with something that can't be surpassed.
