It was relatively easy for Twice when they became the top GG in Korean and Black Pink the top global kpop GG. Aespa is doing great and all, and could have become the top GG except the competition right now is incredibly fierce:

- Twice didn’t disband and are promoting
- Black Pink coming back from hiatus
- IVE being huge in Korea right now
- GIDLE’s recent comeback surpassing Next Level in several digital chart categories
- Potential for NMIXX/Sullyoon to blow up big time in Korea, they just need the right song
- YGNGG, Min Heejin/ADOR GG, Next Produce GG,ILAND GG
- Unexpected return to glory for ITZY with Checkmate (?)
Selling 1.5 million albums is good but they are going to need more than bulk orders to be the undisputed #1 of the post-corona kpop world
