aespa’s My World is AOTY (1 Viewer)

Here we are in 2023 with aespa having the best girl group album so far in my opinion. Better than IDLE’s better than Le Ssarafim’s and also better than IVE’s (although all of those are not bad at all). And in terms of title tracks Spicy is really close to Unforgiven for me, Queencard is decent so is whatever IVE did (forgot the name). But My World specifically doesn’t have a bad song whereas all of these other albums do.

IVE still has the best album for me, every track is a banger. Not sure if mini albums should be compared to full albums though... aespa definitely has the best mini album of the year. After them, it would be NMIXX's expergo. I was actually disappointed with Billlie's album, not that is was bad, but the songs are just forgettable to me. I also feel the same about Le Sserafim's album.

I still need to listen to Gidle's album, so thanks for reminding me

I dont usually compare when it comes to full albums or mini albums etc. I just judge it how it is and when they are released. IVE’s album was decent BUT they dont have that staying power for me. I’ll listen to their songs and I’m like “oh thats pretty cool” and then rarely ever go back to them.
