whenever i go on pinterest for drawing references, and i come across an obviously ai photo of a kpop idol it makes me a little annoyed. in fact ai art in general annoys me as people use pinterest for art references and many other things and coming across an ai portrait really messes with you. i can't express how many times i came across ai jennie on pinterest. ive seen more ai blackpink photos than any other group, but ive seen some of ningning too. ai of kpop idols in general is annoying because ai does do many unimaginable things...

I agree fully with you. Pinterest also doesn't seem to care. There are instances I report AI pictures for turning idols wearing bikini's or cases idols are 17 and then make them appear to wear super short revealing outfits. Few days ago I saw a photo of predebut Sullyoon and in the original video she wore long yogapants, and in the AI picture of that video they made her wear shorts that disappeared in her butt. I reported it but nothing. I always try report it when it involves minors, but Pinterest seems one of those places where everything goes.

You cannot even watch funny video's on Pinterest anymore because half of it is AI slop.

thanks for your comment, and yes that's so insane...i never came across that kind of explicit ai content on pinterest...honestly i can still put up with pinterest because ive used for so many years but so many people are abandoning it just cuz of the ai slop

It also is annoying because Pinterest gives your feed exactly to what you like, view, or follow a lot. So for me since I am on Pinterest mainly for NMIXX new updates of their bubble upload pictures/video's, it will give me also these AI generated things about them. But I have seen ones of Aespa, Itzy, NMIXX, Twice so far who all were very explicit and obviously with the intend to sexualize them. I hope some kind of law will come soon for AI. I also read Korean idols in general are also making up for 90% of the deepfake generated crap. If I read articles stating that I am not surprised some idols get anxiety or go on a hiatus/break.

pinterest and youtube are fucked...youtube also has an serious ai problem and shows people ai slop ads or even p*orn ads...a lot of people have spoken up about kpop ai and it's going to get a point where deepfakes or ai is going to genuinely harm an idol's life and career...

but I think Pinterest updated so that you can control the ai content on your feed

unless you edit enough to not tell

AI is just a part of our lives but some people are really overusing it... I also draw from pinterest and I've started noticing this over the time too, this should stop but there's no way we can bring a halt to it...

i know it's going to go away soon but it's like so annoying nonetheless. cuz i'm not the only one who almost downloaded a reference but it was an ai and i got annoyed and deleted it...i we are able to tell if a image is ai. i also seen people get fanarts from popular artists on instagram or twitter and ruthlessly run their art through ai and its so obvious too

Like srsly, some people claim that the fanart is their's but it's AI generated and this is happening too much nowadays
