Wait, badge threads are open now?

Users can always make a request on the Rules, FAQ, & Ask the Awards Team thread to become an OP for the badge thread for groups or artists that do not have their badges available in the badge shop. (note that the group or artist must have had their first comeback. Additionally, this is a first-come, first-served process: if someone else has already claimed to be the OP of the thread, you cannot also claim that role.)

For Badges, the badges we already have available on the badge shop.
Every year, we hold an awards season during which our awards team posts a thread listing the groups eligible for badge revamps. In this thread, users can claim OP for the badges thread of the groups mentioned on the list. Please note that participation is based on a first-come, first-served basis.

I hope this clears up any confusion
