Not a joke

So you can climb to the top of the Pey Berland Tower and it's 233 steps. 233 ooooold steps. The railing is a thick rope and if you slip >.> good luck
But it was very much worth it because the view up there was great and it was right next to Cathédrale Saint-André. Going up the tower, I ran into no one.
Going back down is where i almost died because I ran into hoards of people and i was literally hugging the tiny circular wall/pole in the center where the steps are tapered thin >.> Why I decided to be nice every time, idk. It was very scary and my foot slipped once but the lovely lady going up that time helped balance me. Bless you lovely human.

Oh, I've played enough Assassin's Creed to feel very tempted to try and parkour this thing – not that I could ever do that in real life, even if it were safer xD

If no one else is going the opposite direction as you on the stairs and you dont mind a few dips in the steps, it is pretty safe just tiring so stay hydrated.

I think I'm weird because I never really thought about visiting France, but if I ever do go, I'll be sure to keep this advice in mind

I highly recommend Bordeaux. It's more chill and laid back. Plus, you never know what beautiful old building you'll end up seeing when you make a random turn.

Add in an extra 30. I had to backtrack a little if I was lucky to encounter a few of the crevices with doors that provided some space so others could pass me.
