Appreciation Alysa Liu skating to Loco by Itzy (2 Viewers)

For those who followed figure skating at all, you’ve probably seen Alysa Liu. A bit hard not to since she won gold with a stunning routine. But apparently in 2022 she also skated to Loco by Itzy at the Olympics gala. The story I’ve heard for it is that she didn’t expect to be invited to the gala at the end, so when she got the invite she picked Loco because she knew the dance already. Other skaters helped her put together the routine on short notice. Mostly US skaters, but the dress was borrowed from a Spanish skater. Overall, very cute

This was the highlight of Beijing 2022 for me. Everyone came together to help her like a community and it's so sweet.
