This is the 8th part of this series, and I haven't found a single-song that used auto-tune. Auto-tune in it's simplest form is pitch correction. It's what's heavily used in Bon Bon Chocolat (pre-chorus) or f(x) - Electric Shock. Mind you, these are good uses of auto-tune, which make song sound better. None of the songs above used auto-tune to correct the pitch. Please, correct me if I'm wrong and I have a wrong representation of auto-tune.

these kinds of videos always show up in my recommended but i never watched them until now. it seems like what they're calling autotune is simply the original song and comparing it to a live performance. what i find quite pointless is the video that they used to show the "no autotune version" of hann by (g)i-dle. it's a music show encore, not even an actual performance.

Apparently, making a sound cleaner for the in-studio version counts as auto-tune?

This is an example of a song with autotune. You can't tell that it has it but it does. I'm getting my info from someone who is a producer who said that it does have it throughout the entire song.

Yes, and I can hear that as well. But the ones in the video are pure studio corrections so the sound is more clear.

Every song has auto tune because it’s the studio version. Literally the best vocalists in the world use pitch correction. And it has nothing to do with not being able to sing. It’s about making the studio version sound perfect for their audience to listen to.
