So last night my bf and I decided to watch Cast Away together for the first time.
I had never seen it and neither had he.
We both cried at COMPLETELY different scenes.
I cried at any scene involving death or tragedy with REAL people in the film.
My boyfriend only cried at the parts with Wilson.
He's saying that it's an unpopular opinion to not be torn up about what happened with Wilson.

BUt I honestly had no emotional attachment to him and found it silly.
Now he looked up conspiracy theories about Kelly & turns out she might've cheated.
So now the scenes I cried over look silly.

But I want to know am I heartless for not crying over or caring about Wilson?​

I'm wondering if it's because I knew what would happen with Wilson but not with Kelly. So I didn't cry because I expected it.

i've seen cast away only once and didn't cry at all, same goes for other movies and stories shown on screen in general, tv shows too. which is weird because i cry really easily while listening to certain songs or seeing certain real life event. i often feel heartless about it too but i can't help it the only movie i have ever cried to was coco. i hate you ernesto de la cruz.
