South Korean air force chief quits over death, abuse of female officer - Link to the article
So summary Air force sergeant Lee took her own life after being assaulted by Air Force master sergeant Jung. With video evidence of her taking own life.
In March after a dinner, Jung asked Lee "What car do you drive? Let's talk more in the car" then assaulted her.
After the assaulted Jung sent Lee threatening messages to not report him. Also gastlighting her saying "this happens, let's move on".
Meaning it happens to anyone, in their time of life, also telling her to move on.
Air force held apparently an internal, private investigation.
But many claims they were silencing Lee to keep the topic out of the public attention.
Also the family claimed she suffered bullying from co-workers (making Air Force look bad).
And military kept trying to conceal Lee's case.
Lee has undergone 22 counselling sessions but unfortunately took her own life. Due to pain and suffering became too much trauma for her to handle. The fact someone died from the situation. Is absolutely sad and outrageous. For the MEN who didn't help her at all.
I pray her soul is no longer suffering because this is disgusting.

The perpetrator was arrested with the chief stepping their from high position.
Koreans are beyond outraged... If they can't protect Lee how are they going to protect the country?
Also how can fully trust the military after this happened.

"I would like to extend my apology to the citizens and deep condolences to the deceased person and her family. I feel heavy responsibility and offer my resignation," Lee said in a statement.
The case sparked a public outcry after the woman's family filed a petition with Moon's office on Tuesday calling for thorough investigation and punishment for those involved. More than 326,000 people have signed it so far.
Ordering the investigation on Thursday including on how air force handling the case, as family reported three officials at Lee's base to military prosecutors, accusing to of them of dereliction of duty and attempted compulsion and the other of sexual harassment.
The air force on Thursday discharged two supervisors involved in Lee's case, without elaborating why.
On Friday, military prosecutors raided the offices of the air force military police at its headquarters and Lee's base, the defence ministry commented.
A series of incidents has prompted the military to tighten rules and punishments for sexual abuse, but activists say military still too soft on members accused of wrongdoing.
“The investigation is under way, but so far there were signs that the air force tried to protect its own organisation, rather than the victim, despite her multiple attempts seeking help,” a defence source said on condition of anonymity citing the investigation.
