And here I thought we’d be getting another SuperM type group (1 Viewer)

They made it sound like the members would be part of different groups as well as the current groups but it looks like they’re all former members or part of groups that are inactive

Spoiler: Original Statement

"In 2021, the 'Avengers-class' super-large rookie group OMEGA X will debut. SPIRE Entertainment posted a photo containing the silhouettes of 11 members of Omega X through its official SNS account at midnight on the 1st of March. The group title 'OMEGA X' and their phrase 'Your Boys Have Come Back 2021' in the photo stimulated curiosity of viewers. The group name, OMEGA X's 'OMEGA', is the last letter of the Greek alphabet, meaning 'the end' and 'last', and contains the ambition of becoming the 'endplate king' of the K-Pop market. The trailer video that was previously released on the official website also attracts attention. The statement "they are coming to change everything that we haven't seen before" raised curiosity of what members will be in OMEGA X. In particular, OMEGA X is known as an 'Avengers-class' project group, raising expectations. This is because all the members are from audition programs and members of the existing boy groups. Because of this, they are expected to show amazing performances and visuals that are not like rookies. An official from SPIRE Entertainment said, "We are planning to introduce OMEGA X's uniqueness that can satisfy fans around the world. We ask for your interest in the future activities of OMEGA X." On the other hand, OMEGA X, who announced a 'hot debut' in early-2021, will begin a full-fledged debut countdown starting with the release of their trailer video and official logo for each member on the 15th."

at least they have a better name than SuperM lmao

[brekker]

sounds like people that are just desperately trying to succeed and I do like me some underdogs.

[Darkseid]

Lol I told you back then

As it stands now, Omega X is hardly any different from Rain's new bg Ciipher- hopefully they'll have a less cringe intro and not an autotuned mess for their debut song.

[Mangoey]

oof it would've been cool if we got another superm type group
but honestly this is probably easier to manage for them

[JJbaker]

thing is this concept would work better if any of the groups were atleast close to doing well
all very low level groups basically unknown
so they would of been better keeping it a secret until the debut
what would of made people talk about it
instead people expecting x1, iland, and other bigger possible trainees
