TV Another Korean year-end award show will debut this year (2 Viewers)

The Fact Music Awards (TMA) will debut in 2019 and will be giving out daesang and bonsang awards to artists after compiling data to determine the most successful artists in terms of album, songs, and more. Experts’ opinions will also play into part in deciding the winners.

This brings the total of year-end shows to staggering 12. TMA should stand for Too Many Award-Shows. Honestly, I was planning to make a thread whether 11 year-end shows are too many but they introduced yet another one. So here's another question: Is 12 year-end shows too much to handle? Korean netizens seem to agree that it's a huge pressure on idols:

• “Ah this is f*cking nuts they need to stop making these ㅋㅋㅋ It’s only hard on the artists and their fans. There’s no meaning to it;”
• “It’s an awards ceremony with no meaning; they’re just making artists into slaves…”
• “Can they get rid of this, Soribada and Genie ㅋㅋㅋㅋ Why do our artists have to go out on a meaningless ceremony”
• “There only needs to be three awards ceremonies: MelOn, Golden Disc and Gaon. And the three festivals.”
• “Please ㅠㅠ Please stop ㅠㅠ Please stop this… It’s bad enough with all of the award ceremonies we have right now”
• “Please stop it, it’s getting old ㅜㅜ How do you think the artists feel..”
• “They’re doing this for the money. The voting and sponsors bring in a lot of money.”

Yeah a 12th one.. just unnecessary. One more show fandoms will create drama around.
