I was in a serious berubara mood so if you're alright w vintage (as in prehistoric) anime rose of versailles
continuing the berubara theme, kageki shoujo!! is also great and has one of the ending themes of all time, revue starlight also punches above its weight for a more fantasy/action-orientated takarazuka and berubara influenced show (its movie especially is amazing)

revstar is less straight fantasy and more.. slice of life music school then boom! underground theater fight club but with weapons and presented through song adjudicated by a talking giraffe (that never gets explained (they don't explain the fights -- the revues either))
budget kind of ran out near the end but it's got incredible animators (see: moang, who was actually hired after the show started airing)
