I'm supposed to go to a book club today, but I don't want to both because I didn't read the book (I tried, but it was bad) and because most of my book club was at a wedding yesterday that I was not invited to, which is fine because I joined this book club recently, but I just foresee it being two hours of being left out of both the book discussion and the social discussion.


Otherwise, for the month, I'm going to take a friend to get their first pedicure for their birthday this week! Going to the farmer's market with another friend later this month, maybe going to see The Return of the King in theaters, probably going to do a crafting day with other friends. So it'll be a full month with good moments. Just today feels blah.

I officially get to “walk the stage” for graduation, my girlfriend is visiting for it.

We have a weekend in my city where cool things are open to the public that usually aren’t. I am going to an old jail, an astronomy observatory, a medical research centre, a place that has therapy horse for children and adults with disabilities, etc.

That's less fun! Is school year round there? Here, we break for the summer in mid-to-late May until mid-to-late August.

yeah, you find so many dramas you never would have found if it wasnt for all the challenges.
the countries one gave me a headache though, because its really hard to find dramas online with eng sub from the philippines and hong kong.

And if it's anything like some of my translated reading challenges: I'm guessing it's also a pain to add on the filter of "and the translation is well done." Like, dang, the way clunky translations can take all the poetry out of something.

I love it! I want to get one of my favorite book characters tattooed on me someday too. It's just a matter of timing and priority with my other goals.

My plan is to show up to my local store on release day and just see if they have any in stock. Normally, 100% of the stock doesn't get reserved exclusively for preorders, but we'll see!
