Not necessarily something scary about the house since it’s never happened more than once. But there’s a section of our floor in the hallway that only creaks when someone puts a lot of weight on the area (so really only when someone walks on it). So one night a few years ago I was woken up at around 3 AM by the sound (my mom heard it in her room as well), my mom and I are the only ones in the house. I remember just listening because I was 1. Unsure if I just thought I imagined it and 2. Terrified, as I listened it sounded like someone was slowly stepping on the creaky section of the floor and then slowly walked off it. We didn’t hear any sound of someone exiting our house or anything but it was insanely terrifying because it just didn’t make sense. Still no idea what was going on.
