On April 26, a source from the music industry stated, “It is reported that with their contracts ending in May, almost all of AOA members have already renewed their contracts [with FNC Entertainment] or they have verbally agreed to do so.”

The source continued, “It is true that each member received offers from a number of agencies in time for the end of their contracts. It seems that they wished to keep the name of AOA, which made them the stars they are today, more than to have individual activities.”

In response, a source from FNC Entertainment revealed, “We are positively discussing with the members about the renewal of their contracts.”"

That's actually bit surprising, I mean I just read how some EXID members will leave the company and so many girl groups have been disbanded lately I think there were talk and rumors about AOA disbanding too. But it's nice that the members still want to keep the group together instead : )

Yeah Hani and Jeonghwa are leaving Banana Culture after EXIDs current schedules are finished and I joked earlier in the year that everyone is expecting EXID to stay together and AOA to not resign but it'll be the other way around and that looks to be reality

Oh you guessed it right then :d Well it's always sad when group disbands so it's good they want to stick together bit longer. I hope the company doesn't put them in hiatus though and keeps releasing music with them.

Well one thing I read although this was from Allkpop so who knows is that one of the things that swayed AOA was that FNC also had opportunities for acting and as entertainers which I guess is meaning in variety shows and stuff.

Oh that's true. If they have work for girls, it makes sense to stay with FNC. Besides FNC might need AOA too, since they have some big problems with their boy bands.

Yeah I think the make or break for EXID and AOA was basically the same thing but it went different ways with AOA being happy under FNC and Hani and Jeonghwa are not happy under Banana Culture so they wanna leave to a company that will fulfill what they wanna do which with Jeonghwa seems to be acting.
