Apparently KARD's Jiwoo and Somin are on a feud or something (1 Viewer)

Just look at all the comments, makes it seem like they have a ongoing fight or something.
Now I know, I've been stanning them since Oh NaNa came out and yeah they were pretty distant at the beginning but I think they have gotten closer ever since.
So close to call themselves bffs? Probably not, but I don't think that's an issue like the comments make it out to be?


Being an Idol is a career, first and foremost, and your group mates are primarily your coworkers, not your long life best friends. If they are, that's amazing, if not, that's not something to get upset at and say the members are fighting or sth.

Now Jiwoo and Somin are completely different personalities.
It's hard for me to even imagine them being all touchy lovey, best friends together like for example Dreamcatcher members are.

Not every group will have a close relationship. While they were all at the same company, I believe, Jiwoo only really met met them during a recording. Somin wasn't training to be part of Kard at first, and she was a part of April for 4 months. While that's a small amount of time, it's still a lot of training and such. Not even a year passed and she's in Kard, so I assume she didn't have that much of a chance to interact with Jiwoo.

While they really may not be as close as other band members, they seem to work well together, and this "feud" looks like fans stirring up this.

Well as long as they can co-exist and work together without being out for each other's blood, it's all good I suppose. It does make you wonder about the group dynamic with the boys as well tho.

to be honest i feel like the comments are slightly overreacting. first of all, analysing someone's relations basing on a 7-minute video seems pointless to me because we'll never truly know what's going on between them as we don't know them personally. i see nothing wrong with treating each other solely as coworkers, it's a known fact that not every idol group is going to be close and as long as they're respectful towards each other during their career there shouldn't be any problem with that.

Like honestly i fear that this whole issue is gonna ruin the group cause of the way that's been blowned out of proportion. I mean everybody in the fandom is talking about jiwoo and somin hating each other or something and making lots of crazy theories. But I feel that's just pushing it too much cause we never know what's actually happen because that's their personal life and they have no obligation to share it with us, and as long as they can keep being professional it's no biggie.
Maybe they like each other maybe they don't as long as they are professional and respect each other it's none of our business if they don't wanna talk about it

Do people talk about the same thing if the guys don't make eye contact and talk to each other if they have already done that? Or have the guys always seemed close to each other?
If it's the former, then why do people always target the girls relationships?

Also, wouldn't people talking about their relationship cause more friction between them if their relationship isn't that good? We have to be careful what we say.

Idk why fans have to create this kind of rivalry and drama when there's no reason at all to believe they hate each other or something. They don't have to be bff to work together and if you ask me, both have great chemistry on stage. Everything else is just akgae driven rumors...

They seem to have a really chill relationship. I'd say Jiwoo is closer to BM but she seems fine with Somin. Maybe because Kard aren't your typical kpop group but, from what I've seen, they don't push the "I'd be nothing without my members I need them otxxxx forever" narrative. They seem to genuinely be really chill with each other.

Their fans push that narrative more than anything. A few weeks ago, Jiwoo had to openly said she loved Somin because people wouldn't stop harassing her about. It's almost as annoying as the shipping
