Appreciation Appreciate GOT7: Vocals (1 Viewer)

Welcome to my thread series of Appreciate GOT7! Once a week I will focus on one aspect of theirs I love.

VOCALS!!

There are two main vocals, Jaebeom and Youngjae!

Spoiler: Youngjae

has amazing control in his range~ his lower range is *chef's kiss* though we don't get to hear it that much. Gravity shows off his lower range well.


He also works well in his upper range as long as he stays in his comfort zone (yes I'm slightly salty about Poison's high note live stages)


Youngjae is a talented vocal who, with a little more experimentalism in stepping outside his comfort zone well, could be an even better vocalist than he already is. (and he's adorable too)

Jaebeom, also a main vocal, has a bit of a larger range than Youngjae. though out of his range and it was probably a little strained, it was commendable he hit and E5 in Love Loop.


He has a lot of versatility and can pull of a happy, bright vibe as well as a sexy, sultry vibe.


With a little more control of his volume and power, Jaebeom could match Youngjae in terms of technique.

Now, onto our lead vocal! Park Jinyoung~

park jinyoung is a lead vocal, ohmy oh my~ He has a pretty average range, more comfortable in the upper registers than lower.


He doesn't explore much outside his comfort zone, and his lower register could use some work (though if it improves he might just bias wreck me to the nth degree)


He's talented, and with some more technique, he could definitely become a main, esp with his versatile voice.

Kim Yugyeom is our sub vocalist (but 10/10 make him a lead god damn

The maknae has a unique tone and range, higher up than the others but smaller. However, it doesn't stop him from utilizing it well. He has a good sense of harmony, often harmonising with his members


He has a gorgeous higher range, especially shown in the bridge of Face. (Which is my favourite GOT7 song fight me)


With some more practice, he could definitely quickly be on the same level as our park prince.

For the members who aren't teCHNICALLY vocals, AmeriThaiKong

Jackson - Is definitely not on the level of the mains, but for one of the main rappers, he is good at singing as well. His range lies in the lower registers comfortably, but if needed he can sing higher.
Mark - um i hate to say it but he has my least favourite voice out of got7 dfjghfjk I'm SORRY- but its tinny and he's obviously not trained that much in it. If he practiced more i might warm up to it.
BamBam - Like Mark, he's obviously not trained in voice that much. However, he's all right from what I've heard when he's not joking around.

So basically, just stan GOT7 lmao
