So if you combine both sides of what we have so far it seems that there was tension within the group because of Hyunjoo's fragility and as a result she wouldn't come to practices and if you know anything practices are long hours, daunting and take a lot out of you. So I can see why the other members would be frustrated with her if they were pulling these long hours as a group trying to get their name out there while she didn't even come to practice despite not being sick just a bit frail. But then coming to their stages and performing like she had worked with them this whole time.

Does that excuse them possibly being dicks to her? Hell no. But it does give a bit more perspective to where their actions and frustration might've been coming from. If this is true I can see how both sides had some issues and it wasn't completely ONE side's fault. If Hyunjoo really couldn't handle the idol life she should've moved on sooner.

But the girls shouldn't have been dicks even if she wasn't showing up to practices. So I don't know. I'll just wait for more to come out at this point.

Yeah this is closest to what I think probably happened as well. Especially for Somin who was a senior trainee and leading her group, wanting to debut fast, I can see why she might have been frustrated and upset with Hyunjoo not showing up or causing their practices to extend beyond regular hours. From what I've read, DSP still wanted Hyunjoo as center, and Somin's troubles with her are part of the reason they took out Somin instead and placed her in KARD.
Hyunjoo apparently considered quitting earlier and they brought in Naeun as the new center but then Hyunjoo returned too and they debuted together.

I can see inner disputes happening between the members and sometimes the person can take it as bullying even when it isn't, but of course if the claims made by Hyunjoo's supposed friend are true, it goes a bit beyond that.

Not good for Naeun either.

Naeun and Jinsol have also reportedly had an iljin past and there's been bullying allegations against her before too, Idk how much is true but there's def quite some smoke around her.

Yeah this is closest to what I think probably happened as well. DSP made another statement clarifying the incidents that I posted in another thread and as for the Naeun and Jinsol it's pretty common at the time to end up with bullying rumours around debut as I even saw a Reddit thread on it at the time that mentioned everyone getting them

Yeah it's still a lot of grey area without any proof so hard to say anything really. Whatever events might have transpired might be interpreted in anyway, this A-JAX guy being Naeun's bf also makes his statement not as reliable obviously but I do believe the members might have had some genuine cause for frustration too and not simply bullied Hyunjoo for whatever reason.

Yeah their statement is in line with how I think things went down, it's just a matter of how much of Hyunjoo's "friend"'s claims can be believed. But since those are unverified, there's been no clarification from anyone yet. Though it also accuses Somin of bullying and claims Chaewon was dating their manager so maybe some clarification would be nice.

Ok yup this 2nd statement seems pretty detailed and convincing, so now it's just one side's claims versus the others but due to the details of DSP's statement I'm inclined to believe them slightly more.
Looks like a case of members not getting along with Hyunjoo and she blowing things out of proportion, or atleast confiding in people who blew it up for whatever reason. Everyone has disagreements and conflicts, doesn't necessarily mean bullying.

Also since Chaekyung and Rachel joined later and by all accounts seem to have fit in just fine, Idk. Every single member ganging up on just one kinda seems unlikely. Atleast with AOA it was just Jimin doing it.

Yeah and Hyunjoo never said anything herself but given that it has been years since she was part of April and she's still with DSP I would think that things would be solved now however for her brother and if that other person was her friend seeing how it was affecting her would be pretty hard to get over even if Hyunjoo herself moved on potentially.

Yeah and with Jimin Mina mentioned her doing it to the other members too so it came across Jimin causing trouble where as this seemed out of place with Chaekyung and Rachel seemingly being fine with the other members.
