Are fancam cameras going too far? (2 Viewers)

one has to do fancams, one has to do aeygo...it just comes with the job

I mean yes, but it wasnt the norm. Usually fans made fancams, thus the name. But seeing how many views it garnered music stations began tonmake for all the members.

I think the ending fairy poses are awkward and a bit too long even for establishing shots.
Why stay on one person awkwardly for 5 seconds when they could just do a final wide shot of the ENTIRE group from kind of afar / mid-range distance instead? The point of a group performance is the GROUP.

But, these shows' producers and the labels(?) seem to forget/not care about that anymore.




I think "ending fairy" or "ending fairy pose" are terms used to describe basically a shot focused on one member, who was likely pre-determined as that in rehearsals, of the group having the final pose after the end of the performance. I think it's called "fairy" because it's usually done in girl groups.
Maybe someone else can describe this much better than I can.

I don't know about male groups.

They do it in male groups too, but it started being called ending fairy after a i.o.i. ended a performance and the camera zoomed on her and her image became viral.

Too close? Practically in the idols' faces...

It must be annoying too, also the ending fairy. I swear idols need to do so many things for one performance

i can understand if some idols may not like something like the ending fairy
i honestly thought you were going to mention what happened at the China airport recently ( i think it was WayV) that was mobbed by C- Nets and had little to no securty
cameras and gifts in their faces
i think a fan cam like that IS WAY TOO FAR and those people need to control their own actions
i also think airports NEED to put up a rule and regulation that if you are not departing from the airport/ getting on a plane or picking up or droping off anyone then YOU DO NOT/ ARE NOT ALLOWED TO BE AT AN AIRPORT this needs to happen, i honestly think its getting worse and worse with each Kpop artist trying to exit/ enter an airport just to get to their schedule
hell i even had a dream with BTS (yes OT7)a couple of years ago and they told me that they hated the gifts and cameras in their faces....

this is so true, like sometimes they only show a few of the members when it should be the whole group being shown whether it's a close up shot of each member, or a shot of the whole group together (especially if it's a large group). the group works together for the performance, not just a select few ;-;
