With RV's Yeri and Wendy terminating their solo contracts.
And with DC's Handong, Dami and Gahyeon leaving.

Is the end inevitable for these two acts?

Will the remaining members renew as sub-units or potential solo performers?

I'm asking hardcore Luvies and Somnias here, I'm not being sarcastic!
I absolutely love/loved both GGs very much

Blackpink, SNSD or APink show that it's possible
They might not have frequent comebacks tho', since they most likely concentrate more on solo schedules

All comes down to how serious they are about making sure the group stays around since Gfriend had 0 members under Source Music and still made a comeback work for their 10th anniversary and EXID did the same while having to get their trademark but then a case like Mamamoo they had 2 members under RBW and didn't release anything substantial for their 10th anniversary.

It all comes down to the group but you can't really have an actual test until you get to a significant anniversary which will be ages for both groups so I would say if they have a comeback in the meantime then that's a good sign they'll stick around however it's not a bad sign unless they miss their like 20th annivesaries or 10th if Dreamcatcher does something for their re-debut.

Depends on the actual group bond and if they can’t make as much money by themselves. If they feel touring brings them much more they will probably milk themselves dry in another round with like 1 or 2 new songs.

@Nyaz could be right but it seems there's currently a misconception in Dreamcatcher's Fandom. Handong, Dami and Gahyeon didn't renew their contracts. It doesn't automatically mean that they permanently left Dreamcatcher. There are other options to pay them for their work. By the way, Siyeon will also work on her solo career. It's possible that she won't renew her contract too in the future.

According to Dreamcatcher Company they will continue working together as a seven members group. From the company's statement:

Although our formal relationship with them will come to an end, we have decided to continue working together for their activities as Dreamcatcher based on mutual affection and deep trust in the group.

I guess 'deep trust' means that they earned too much money with them to let them go. Dreamcatcher are the reason why many international Rock and Metal fans got into K-Pop at all. Their main Fandom isn't in Korea, it's in the West. I can't believe that Dreamcatcher Company will close that door. Just because it would be also the end of Dreamcatcher Company long-term. Imagine you are a K-Pop company with that one group that people all over the world like that usually don't listen to other K-Pop groups like BTS, Blackpink, IVE. Would you let them disband?

That being said, everything ends and in K-Pop industry things could end rather quickly. Unfortunately (or fortunately?) in K-Pop there are no Rolling Stones that will still continue touring in their coffins.
