just like the question says. can be from a movie, tv show, book, game whatever really. to me, there's definitely meredith grey from grey's anatomy. as we speak i dislike this show as much as i used to love it a few years ago and i think watching it was my biggest waste of time but somehow it's still airing and whenever i hear anything about it, i'm reminded what a self-centered, bland yet overdramatic character meredith grey is. literally everyone in that show has more personality than she does despite her being the main character. and hearing this line made me laugh out loud the first time i watched it

I don’t like her either. I found her self-centered and had troubles finding redeeming qualities. She bothered me in the sense it was always about what she could gain. Now after saying that, you’d be surprised to know Alex Karev was one of my favourite characters

the fact that she didn't tell amelia that her literal brother was dying... how more self-centered can she get? i feel like the writers were too busy throwing traumatic experiences at her to give her an actual personality. i liked alex too lol he was flawed but not as obnoxious as meredith, idk if you got to season 16 already but alex deserved a better ending than the way they wrote him off, it was weird

It's a great show if you're a fan of Psychological Thrillers

i dropped it when season 17 started and honestly she doesn't change even in the slightest the writers just threw in another near-death experience but she's still as unlikeable as ever

I feel like the writers are just adding onto her experiences to keep it interesting. But what they really should be doing is developing other characters too. She was unlikable for me even in season one. Alex and George were my favourite interns

I HATE Spirt Albarn from Soul Eater (anime), I can't figure out whats the reason is for the hatred but it might be because of how a horrible role model he is. I also despite Shun Kaido from Saiki k (anime) for no reason, i just find him dumb and stubborn.

Mine is from a book series. I am also re-reading the first book right now (which I like to tell myself it's a standalone). But the character is Helene Aquilla from AEITA. She drives me up a fucking wall. She is a walking contradiction. On one page she acts like she is a Scholar sympathizer. Then throughout the series proceeds to show she is a horrid racist who ACTIVELY participates in committing genocide. BUT for some fucking reason people love her and think she is super strong as a characer. The worst part is I DNF'd the third book in the series and still have YET to see any improvement from her or development. I can't wrap my head around why ANYONE would love her character.

I feel like a lot of people dislike this character but I’m going to mention her anyways because she makes me wanna- But Mikasa Ackerman from attack on titan. No personality, no goals, just there to freak out about Eren every chance she gets.
