Are there any groups where you follow the solo activities but not the group or vice versa? (1 Viewer)

Most groups I really like, I follow both the main group and will at least give subunit/solo activities a try. So I'm curious which groups you're like "they have soloists?" and which soloists you're like "they're part of a group?"

For me personally, I like Rose's solo specifically, but am neutral on BP and the other girls' solos.

I'm sure there are lots of groups who have had one or more members who go solo, but it's hard to tell you who when I didn't follow the solo stuff. Purple Kiss does come to mind, I never really understood why RBW wasted a comeback on doing a Swan solo instead. Purki wasn't popular enough to support having such a long break and Swan didn't individually have a popular enough solo fandom to support a release either, especially one that made very different music from the main group.

I was a fan of izone but since they've disbanded I keep an eye out for what hitomi does but no really Say My Name

Also with the likes of Lily in Nmixx and Hanni/Danielle in NJZ and Xiaoting in Kep1er - I'm Chinese-Australian so I tend to support my fellow Chinese and Aussies
