When i was younger I thought that waking up with swollen and painful joints was normal. I would be confused when people sounded befuddled that I went to bed and woke up with a swollen ankle or something with no clear cause Now I understand that that’s a pretty rare thing

Probably Lyme disease, I tested positive for it after a couple years of that and swelling is a symptom of it. It’s not the most common symptom though, not on its own, but after I took antibiotics it went away thankfully

Apparently I shouldn’t be getting excruciating pain during periods + have it occur every 2 weeks

Also didn’t know chronic migraines were a thing, I thought I just got headaches somewhat often enough

I also experienced the latter for many years. Thankfully, getting treatment for my hypertension helped significantly. Still happens but not nearly as often

seeing and hearing voices/shadows and outer worldly objects

I thought it was just an overactive imagination and it turned out it was 'in a way'

my neurologist thinks it is seizures caused by a larger than normal frontal lobe
gp thinks it is schizo and acid trips

my stomach used to hurt rlly badly all the time turns out im lactose intolerant :P

No, I don’t. I actually even got Lyme again years later, but that time I didn’t have any symptoms that were definitely Lyme related. Maybe they caught it early. But to this day I’m careful about checking for ticks after being outside

I used to think it was normal for kids to start crawling at age two... but then I learned that I'm just different. lol I actually have developmental delays, so that's what made me think the way I did.

Have you asked your doctor to check for endometriosis? That's a common diagnosis for the excruciating period pain. I had it; DM me if you want to know what helped, since my spoiler function isn't working.

Please also ask your doctor about what else could be causing the headaches.

The migraines are stressed induced for sure. But I’ll definitely ask about that!
