For me, I like Final Fantasy X-2 more than Final Fantasy X. The game play is so fun!

Movies: Prey, Dawn Of The Dead, Terminator 2, National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation, Hellbound: Hellraiser 2, Nightmare On Elm Street 3, Pirates Of The Caribbean 2 and 3.

Games: Borderlands 2, Half Life 2, Bioshock 2, Aliens vs Predator 2, Resident Evil Village, Left 4 Dead 2, Wolfenstein 2, Torchlight 2.

pretty basic opinions but i like shrek 2 more than the first one and prefer the dark knight over batman begins, also my favourite movie of the matrix franchise is resurrections

I thought The Hobbit movies were a lot of fun and unnecessarily hated on. (But not as good as LotR movies tho.)

I think I like the Hobbit ones more because the LOTR ones stayed mostly similar storyline wise. They did take some great characters and make them sucky but the story overall was close enough that I look at the movies and go, wow, that could have been really good if they didn’t make those characters suck so much compared to the books. But the movies just pale in comparison. Whereas with the Hobbit ones I feel like the storyline was drastically different enough that if it strayed from the books I don’t care because it’s such a loose tie. So I’m not comparing the Hobbit movies to how the books are better because the difference is so big. The romance was majorly cringey though.

I can get that! I feel like it can be easier to appreciate a movie vs a book when they're doing their own thing. Like Howl's Moving Castle, I like both, but don't really feel like there's much point in comparing beyond the broad strokes.
