I collected 12 consoles including handhelds, built a gaming PC with my friend we share, use emulators, and play mobile games.

I play anything even if it’s badly reviewed because I enjoy trying it for myself. I definitely consider myself a gamer.
Keeps my mind off things and that’s usually why I don’t get bothered a lot by things.

Don't really know as in I don't really think about classifying it anymore.
Games have been a constant in my life since I was 4, (I'm 32 now) so it's just normal I guess. I've collected numerous consoles over the years, my first was a Sega mega drive. Played many games, I havent got much of a perference anymore (mainly violence or platformers I guess) , I tend to just play alone cause people irritate me unless I have to for a raid or something depending on the game.. Lived though the early xbox online (especially COD) and PlayStation era of team chat as a female it wasn't great somewhat hilarious not sure how it is now. My favourite place is an arcade actually since there were times I was quite poor so I when I had the chance I would wonder around the arcades (and comic stores)....
So I guess so but I don't play as much as I use to considering I have adult things to take care off, work, bills and a family but it's usually my free time activity.
My kid is growing up pretty similar tbh, he's a fortnite, minecraft and smash bros player mostly, but he spends more time coding and making mini games on scratch, being almost 10, I would think game development might be something he would consider as a career in the future.

i like platformers and psychological games but not so much shooters, and especially not battle arena games like league,,, im very picky about what i like and get bored easily. besides i dont usually go out of my way to play or buy them, so definitely not a gamer
