Not really. Growing up I never thought that I was better than anyone else. I actually thought I was less of a person than most people (maybe that was due to low self-esteem back then). Now that I'm older I usually treat people as if were both equals. I don't see how some people can have such a condescending attitude. It's annoying.

No, I grew up in a very traditional household but since I lived in England most of my life, my culture as a polish person clashed with my social culture as a 'british' person. It meant that whenever my family tried to belittle my thoughts or opinions due to me being younger/inexperienced, my resentment towards an elitist attitude grew.

Basically, I'm all for equality and freedom, I tend to frown on people that try to act superior to make others feel inferior too
