Tea (barely caffeinated but it has some) makes me want to die.
Soda I don't mind (some types at least) but I never actually drink it
So yeah I don't ever get caffeine, and realistically I shouldn't be getting too much caffeine anyways with a medication of mine. In the past I actually got about 1200 mg of caffeine on a daily, sometimes a little more, sometimes a little less (its about the equivalent of 12 normal cups of coffee), but that was years ago.

Those are impressive numbers. Getting off of that much caffeine must have been horrible.

Honestly my life was so terrible back then that I didn't even notice those changes when it comes to coffee. I may have had bad side effects from that and just not connected it to coffee though. I don't remember exactly when I ditched coffee but around that time frame I did get really terrible insomnia which could have been related. But it also could have been related to my depression since that's a possible symptom too. Not sure, it's hard to figure out what links to what medically sometimes.

I'm still an addict but I had a wake up call when my blood pressure was so high at a doctors appt. that they refused to let me leave because they were afraid I was going to have a stroke. I also wasn't making sense while talking to the doctor. I limit how much I drink each day now. My mother and sister had to come get me. I still haven't lived it down.
