Most of the times they are sellers, selling the adult versions of toys (read; useless gizmos). Some other times they are from charities. I prefer to choose my charities myself and research them properly before donating. Either way, stopping is a waste of time.

depends on the situation but when it comes to things like you mentioned then yes, but then again the charity people usually don't bother to talk to me because i walk too fast and usualyl have headphones on even if there's nothing playing :wonugl:
