for some reason, despite having discord for several years, I keep pushing aside joining any public servers - kpop related or not.
are you a part of any ? any recs, any complaints? experiences?

I’m in public servers for Victon, Xdinary Heroes, Kep1er, Bahiyyih, Fu Yaning, and Super M. I’m also in an AQ server for kpop streaming. I’m most active in AQ and the Victon ones just cause of the people there

The forum is definitely a place where I share more in comparison. Like yeah I talk with people with same kpop interests but it doesn’t really blossom into friendships in these servers. But again everyone’s experiences will be different

I used to be in the aespa one when it was still srg channel but moved to private ones with the friends I made there
it's well-organized, just hectic and I prefered the smaller community back then

small community is definitely something I can see myself in. the huge servers with 1,000+ users just scare me :D

I noped out when I saw someone ask who lami was... in the lami channel... which requires you to add the smrookies role

It feels similar
The SuperM discord server specially is very nice, they give a lot of informations about kpop and the members activities + are polite and it has 0 drama
They also have giveaways sometimes and stream concerts
