Recently I’ve been trying to get more in touch with English culture (I’m English). I’m currently reading Beowulf (Tolkien’s translation) - which is our Epic Poem from the early Middle Ages (written around 700AD).

yep, ask any of my friends and I am very french and very korean. i of course have lots of American mannerisms because I live in the USA, so do as romans do. but I retained a lot of what my parents instilled in me + lifestyle of the french

What is there to English culture? As in what is your traditional dress and foods?

I think we lack much in the way of cultural food and dress (for example when compared with a country like Korea), but some one area with a lot of cultural heritage for us is literature. With Beowulf from Old English, Chaucer and Shakespeare from Middle English, Charles Dickens and Tolkien from modern English. Poetry too; William Woodsworth, Keats, Blake, etc.

well i am mixed raced in america so I try my best but none of my family r that in touch with their culture either. wish we were tho

Yes, but specifically England itself. Ireland, Scotland, Wales, the Isle of Mann, and Cornwall all have a unique culture too.
