For me, sometimes. I do not like to draw attention to myself in social situations. I’m usually the type to hide in the shadows. But in secure relationships (or friendships) I sometimes do require a lot of attention. And patience… but that’s another story.

No, I am actually someone that doesn't need a lot of attention in daily life... I am more of an introvert and try to keep a low profile.
But just like you said, in friendships I can be a bit hyper and a lot to handle (usually in a very fun way, I guess)!
For romantic relationships... I guess my ex just made me feel very insecure because he would always talk about other girls... I guess that kind of made me crave the attention?

I relate to a lot of what you said. When I’m in public I do not Want attention drawn to me. I’m very introverted. With friends I can be hyper (but in a cute and not annoying way… I hope). One difference tho… I’m in my first healthy romantic relationship so before her, I felt like I couldn’t get any attention from a partner and was expected to just shut up and look pretty. Oh, I am so happy that you got into a healthy relationship - we love to see that! Yeah, I've struggled with body image issues thanks to my relatives so having someone that would a) always talk about how he wants other girls and b) always put women down like an insecure ass just made things a lot harder. Lost myself quite a lot in that relationship because my parents always made me feel kind of inadequate when I was single. Well, glad to be over that now.

It depends on what it is as to whether or not I want the attention. At work? No. I want to just come in, do my job and leave with bare minimum interaction and eyes on me. At social events or parties? Yes.

At my job, I just say good morning, enter in my room, do my work, say good afternoon and leave.
At parties I only sit, eat and stay on my phone until the end
At home I stay at my bedroom almost the whole day
My clothes are mostly dark colors too or too lowkey/simple
Even online I mostly login to interact with my friends and leave.
