And did it affect you at all?

I think I had a hard time dealing with them telling me about how the other was awful and neglectful. In the end, they both neglected me and I grew up having to take care of the adults instead of take care of myself. I ghosted my bio dad five years ago and it was one of the best decisions I've ever made.​

My mom never married my biological dad, they weren’t together anymore when I was born and I’ve never met him. Tbh from what she’s told me he wasn’t very nice back then so it was probably best for us to not have him in the picture but I know pretty much zero of my hispanic culture and wish I had someone teach me that other part of who I am so that’s disappointing. My mom is currently married but I don’t consider him to be a very nice person either, so I don’t really refer to him as a “dad”. A messy response sorry

Yep. They have been since I was VERY little. It was hell growing up dealing with my father's side. But thankfully I don't have to worry about that because once I turned 18 I pretty much disowned him. I mean he hasn't contacted me either, so I just say my Pa (grandpa) was more like my dad growing up bc me and my mom lived with him.
