How long have you been a fan of kpop?

Since September 2017, hence the number at the end of my username. I had heard about K-pop before that, but I hadn't really been a fan yet because of how toxic the fandoms seemed, especially towards Directioners. I finally caved when I saw a very cute pic of an idol on Twitter and asked the person who tweeted it, who he was. She told me it was Namjoon from BTS and took the liberty of introducing me to them through a series of tweets. I was in denial for a while, though, because K-pop wasn't my music style at all at the time (which was and still is pop and country).
