Tbh I think its the stylists responding to these comments by dressing her in a way that hides her body to prevent nasty comments from (let's be honest) actually fat people projecting their insecurities onto her. As a result some people view it as styling her differently because they think that Starship believes she is fat which they don't. Most K-pop companies would not debut an idol that they believe is fat without making them loose the weight pre-debut.
