what's the thing with kpop groups these days releasing mostly all-english or 90% english songs like what did i miss

it kinda sounds like watered down older gen kpop so i get the idea but it's poorly executed imo, i'm not really a fan of the talk-singing as it makes the whole song sound like a chant to hype up the crowd during a sports event. my fave part is the vocals at 1:30 and imo they should've gone with this vibe more to make it sound more melodic... it's not like there wasn't enough space here because the song is ridiculously short. i miss when popular kpop songs were at least 3 minutes long </3
