That really sucks, in a lot of ways. I hope they develop their own unique identity soon. When BLACKPINK debuted, a lot of people (understandably, sadly) compared them to 2ne1 and said that it's basically a copy of the group in terms of sound (and other things too, but I'm focusing on sound for this particular argument). Now that Babymonster finally debuted, and BLACKPINK is the veteran group, Babymonster is accused of having a similar sound or being too similar in music style. I hope that as Babymonster stays around longer, they get a more distinct music indentity that isn't reduced to BLACKPINK 2.0.
