Baek Yerin Sweeps Major Realtime Charts With “Square (2017)”

Baek Yerin took over the charts once again!
On December 10 at 6 p.m. KST, Baek Yerin released her new album “Every letter I sent you,” which contains 18 tracks in all. “Square (2017)” is one of its three title tracks, and Baek Yerin both wrote the lyrics for the English-language song as well as co-composed it.
By 11 p.m. KST on December 10, Baek Yerin had taken No. 1 on all major realtime charts: Melon, Genie, Bugs, Soribada, and FLO.

This is Baek Yerin’s first release under her new independent label Blue Vinyl, which she launched after leaving JYP Entertainment in September.

Popo and 0310 are charting in the top 10 on melon and most of the songs are charting in the top 50 as well.

Congratulations to Baek Yerin!

The charts are showing the results of all that pent-up demand for Square.

I find it amazing (and encouraging) that her English R&B songs are doing well on the SK charts.

You can't lose when you have the talent and passion in what you do... Yerin takes her art and music seriously.. she earned it.
