1st quarter of the year is down, and although there haven't been a lot of big names making their comebacks, there's still been enough content to fill out a yearly playlist.

My top 3 B sides of the year:

3. Shinee- Heart Attack


This is a lot closer to the classic Shinee sound, compared to Don't Call Me which sounds more NCTish. My fav song from their latest album. Bonus points for Key's ending fairy pose lmao.

2. Weeekly- Yummy


Last year, Weeekly released probably the best B-side of the year "Hello". Yummy is almost as good, I can see this still being on repeat for the next 9 months of 2021

And finally, the best B-side so far of 2021, by none other than the true B-side queens of our generation:

1. WJSN- New Me


WJSN continues to have one of the greatest discographies in modern Kpop thanks to this masterpiece
Honestly, after Save me Save you, they've been going through the B-side curse where atleast 1-2 of their B-sides are superior to their title track everytime. This retains some of their signature space-synth sound mixed with the nu-disco direction they took with Unnatural.
