for background of our experience with ateez, i've been a fan since 2018 but stanned right after wonderland and before answer and my bf has also known them for a similar length of time but doesn't stan them like me

BF

1. Inception - i think is my current fave song, i "didnt like it" on first listen but i kept singing to it for days until i heard it again and i enjoyed it a lot so it was weird. I think i blame the teasers for me not liking it the first time. It's dramatic as hell, the vocals are great, jongho is daddy, bye
2. Wonderland - It's hype, it's an anthem, it's great. It's kind of a "throw everything you like at the song and see what sticks" but it worked well for me.
3. Wave - decently "normal" but the hook is really good, minggi's voice gives that strong caribbean dancehall and even reggaeton vibe but in a good way (given that i don't like reggaeton) and it's just overall fun and well done
4. Thanxx - the most generic song of the ones that i like by far but it's well executed, also took me a second listen days after the first to realize how much i liked it
5. Hala Hala - it was the first song i really really liked from them that made me think they were gonna be a great group. The mask concept was my fave and i wish they did it again :c. Nowadays it falls a bit flat for me for some reason but it's probably because i burnt it out so much
6. Pirate King - a great introduction to them for me and i liked it a lot at first but then i kind of forgot about it and i mean it's a good debut but not something i'd listen on repeat even back then so yeah. Verses and prechorus are amazing, drop is good but i feel it could be better in the postchorus
7. Illusion - i never listen to but it's good enough i just think the second half of the chorus is kinda there
8. Im the One - i don't like it because it sounds kind of generic but it's hype and the iMzEoNeINmAzOne verse intros are great
9. Treasure - likes it ok and postchorus with mingi is great
10. Say My Name - i liked the first time but after the 2nd didn't like it much
11. Answer - he really dislikes this song sorry LMAO, he feels it's very generic


ME (GF)

1. Halla Halla - I'm sorry but the way that Jongho kills everything about this song plus the absolute boss energy this song emits
2. Wonderland - A definite power anthem for Atinys and one of the songs that really interested me in ATEEZ
3. Inception - This song is so good and so catchy for how "non lit" I feel it is in comparison to these
4. Pirate King - My first ATEEZ song and still has such a cool drop and the raps in this song are so so good!
5. Illusion - a fun break from the other songs i love how cute and fun this song while still being ATEEZ style
6. Say My Name - Very catchy, very cool, very good LOL
7. Thanxx - An extremely fun song and has a ton of great moments, very fun instrumental
8. I'm the One - the newest title by ATEEZ brought their signature upbeat
9. Answer - Another anthem by these boys, they really can't release a bad song now can they? Just a little bit less exceptional than the others
10. Wave - Super fun but by the books summer song, but mingi really carries that song with his lines
11. Treasure - my least favorite title by them but I still really like it, it just doesnn't have the same feel that ATEEZ is so good at now
