Ahead of an April 13 premiere in Japan and simulcast on Crunchyroll, the official website and Twitter account for the Black Butler anime today released a brand-new key visual for the upcoming Public School Arc series.

The original Black Butler manga by Yana Toboso has been serialized since 2006 in Square Enix's G Monthly GFantasy shonen manga magazine, and an English language version is also available from Yen Press. Kenjiro Okada directs Black Butler: Public School Arc at animation studio CloverWorks, while Hiroyuki Yoshino provides the series composition and Yumi Shimizu provides the character designs.
Yen Press describes Black Butler:
Just a stone's throw from London lies the manor house of the illustrious Phantomhive earldom, its master one Ciel Phantomhive. Earl Phantomhive is a giant in the world of commerce, Queen Victoria's faithful servant . . . and a slip of a twelve-year old boy.
