Thank you for clarifying~ However I think it should be clearly stated in the rules somewhere from now on since I don't want any more people to spend their time making badges that won't even be put through voting :/. Also if we're buckling down on this this year I think the Loona and AB6IX current group badges shouldn't be put through voting since if by chance they did win again I think it would be unfair to the badges we had to reject in here~

Not going to lie, the LOONA and AB6IX group badges are really pretty though I think the reason why they look cool is bc you can’t really see their faces, but they’re all in a specific formation

Sorry for asking but is it because rose's hair is silverish? If you want I can try to edit the first rose badge and lisa's badge

It's moreso because both the hair and the background is silverish. Silver hair is fine since it's just the hair and is very common but there still needs to be some colour overall~ Sometimes you can fix these things just by turning up the vibrancy which you can do in ipiccy, other times we need to put a colour overlay on the background~

I'll attach some of my own works just as examples~

so these are the original photos I used, the rest of the photo is very saturated with colour but the background is too grey/white that it wouldn't look good on light theme

My recolour is very messy but since the badge is small it didn't need to be too perfect anyway since you wouldn't be able to see the small mistakes so I decided not to spend too much time on it since it wouldn't affect the result too much

And the resulting badges~

And then for overall unsaturated photos I had this Rosie badge which I updated with a bit more vibrancy, not sure if i'm happy with it yet or if I wanna turn it up a bit more but even just the tiniest bit I think has a huge affect on the result of the final badge when you look at them side by side~

I think ipiccy doesn't like you editing colours on small images since it usually wont let me edit the colours further once i've resized the image so if you want to try adjusting colours you might have to go back to the original image again, might be something to do with there being less pixels to actually recolour so it's harder to do that and keep the image quality since it's easier to mess up with less pixels, something like that, it makes sense in my head lol.

There should be consistency- if we end up doing group photos for a few badges, then we have to do that for all of them. That’s not going to look very good at all, and it’s going to be a pain! Logo badges are usually way prettier and cleaner, and member badges can get messy. In addition, we would have to create new guidelines for those badges then. We should continue to do what we have always done and not suddenly start to change everything because of a debate between one badge. Also, not all badges are getting revamped, so definitely not all of them will be getting a change~

To add to this, it's also a huge pain in the neck to fit all the members into one badge especially when there's a lot of members. And since the badges on kps are a lot smaller than badges on other forums, it can make the badges look a bit messy and distorted
