Any active kpop idol being an ambassador for climate change is weird. Kpop encourages mass consumption by fans (albums, welcoming collections, light sticks, plush toys, product endorsements, etc.) which leads to increased pollution.

And, BP's stage outfits are very wasteful, tbh. Their stylist is known for cutting up perfectly good clothing and then, they obviously never use it again.

In the end the whole point of being a global musician/actress/entertainer contradicts being an ambassador for climate change. That said I think they bring a lot of joy to many people around the world and that in itself has a greater value than many other buisness trips by some employees.

But in the end every poor human being who can't affort to fly, drive a car or live in a big house has a better ecofactor than any wealthy person, even when this person smokes a lot, throws away plastic, doesn't seperate waste and doesn't acre about the environment.
