Information Boy group survival show: Peak Time! 24 boy groups competing to be "next global idol group" (1 Viewer)

[Myth]

“Peak Time” is a new survival audition show of JTBC, which aims to select the “next global idol group”. In this show, boy groups, regardless of their seniority and status of disbandment, get to compete and showcase their talents. The program will also provide artists who have been affected by the pandemic, or suffered from long hiatus and member changes, with the opportunity to gain more attention via outstanding stages directed and produced by top-tier staff.



“Peak Time” will be hosted by Lee Seung Gi, with a judging panel consisting of Super Junior Kyuhyun, WINNER Mino, SNSD Tiffany, HIGHLIGHT Lee Gikwang, INFINITE Sungkyu (INFINITE), Jay Park, performance director Shim Jae Won, and music producer Ryan Jhun.

The show, which is scheduled for broadcast on February 7th, 2023, is produced by the team behind “Sing Again” – a music TV program which once achieved ratings over 10%.

Yeah it’s, well not that it’s better than shows like boys planet. I think both types of formats have their strengths and weaknesses but what’s good about this format is that it can show the strength of the group as a whole and not separate them like boys planet would. I think that’s really cool and I think this can be an opportunity for us nugu stans to get acquainted with more groups and appreciate other less popular groups like the ones we like. It’s really cool!
