- Taemin was on tour, but his schedule was open during the SM Concert. Onew was set to release an album around the same time, leading people to blame Onew for the cancellation of Shinee's group performance at the event.

- When the SM Concert goods were revealed, Onew was included, but Taemin wasn't, which created a strange atmosphere.

- Onew's company CEO then posted on Instagram, clarifying that the reasons behind Shinee's canceled winter single, mini album, concert, and SM Concert performances and album were all due to issues with BPM, not Onew.

u know, when he joined bpm it was my first thought that there wont be a shinee cb because bpm might be blocking it.
seems like my feeling was right.
