Glad this mess is (pretty much) over. I'm not that happy with Kakao but prefer them over Hybe.

This will be interesting - some of my long term questions around older groups and member solos still exist whether it’s Hybe or Kakao.

Says Hybe and Kakao agreed on "platform related matters" so I can only assume SM artists will show up on Weverse which Hybe is doing a lot to grow Weverse if that's the case after already using V Live for it.

We'll see what happens with SM going forward as either way it's doubtful SM would stay the same and Kakao has poured a lot of money into this deal now so have to see what how they plan to operate it.

Well WJSN just mostly re-signed with Starship which is under Kakao and Starship already has Ive so the opportunity was definitely there but ultimately we'll see as Kakao mentioned in their statement that SM would run on its own although with Sooman out of the picture it still won't be the same SM if that was the case anyway.

Nothing is sacred to Hybe. I don't see Kakao disbanding RV as long as their is profits. Kakao is basically an investment portfolio. RV has always been good at making money. Hybe likes money, but they are also cowards and like to play games.

Well I don't trust Kakao when it comes to other areas because they are a shady company overall so it was a case of being stuck between a rock and a hard place but their decisions make sense if we're going strictly business and are more likely to just go with the money.

Knowing what Gfriend went through though I wouldn't want that on another group from Eunseo saying it was the first time she saw SinB not smiling to which SinB revealed she was depressed and Eunha didn't know what to do at all and ended up studying not thinking about returning until SinB and Umji asked her. Sowon would just rewatch their stuff in her spare time and Yerin ended up crying on a show because of remembering Gfriend covering a song that was playing while they only did a single stage on it.
