It's okay to not be okay.
What's not okay is telling other people you're okay when you clearly aren't
It's okay to have bad habits
It's not okay to have bad habits that scientists have found can lower your IQ, cause dysfunction in the liver and kidneys. or even kill you
It didn't even feel good after a while, I just kept going back and doing it again because my brain kept telling me to go back
My brain is supposed to lead me away from things that harm me though?
I foolishly thought that if my teeth weren't falling out or if I wasn't in need of immediate transportation to the hospital that I was fine. I th0ught it was fine because I only did it when I got stressed out.
I wasn't an addict. I could stop any time I wanted to
That's what the addict part of your brain wants you to think, so it can eat away at the smart part of your brain like a parasite
I got a reality check when I had the worst headache of my life
A headache that felt like a meat knife slicing up the side of my head
Like the closest thing to death while I still had an active heartbeat
But I was lucky enough to not black out like so many other people who did the same thing as me
It might be hard but I'm ready to be a new person
A person who's stronger and better
