As everyone have seen, there has been an update to Quotev and by 1 July groups and messages will be removed. Already feed doesn't exist anymore and we can even find our friends easy anymore.***
***Everyone had made good memories here and met great people, made friends.***

Today on May 31, 2024, the Quotev admins have decided to remove activity feed. With this new update they have also removed the location under taglines, and are planning to remove groups and messages in July. I, along with many other Quotev users, agree that this update was not a good decision on the admins’ part. I’m starting this petition to show Quotev admins that users want to bring the old Quotev back, and stop the overprotection of this site. Talking to and making friends is a big reason why many people have continued to use this Quotev, and removing the features will simply result in Quotev as a whole losing countless users over the next month or so. Bring back the old Quotev!

to the ppl working on Q, you took our Activity, and Chatbox which lets us interact with people, you took our Recents so we don't look at profiles and users we already visited, and now you're taking away Messages/PMS (which can be turned off) and Groups. By this point how are you going to let people collaborate and talk with others, not to mention roleplay which is a huge thing on your page? You guys quite literally dug your own grave with this update, because people don't just want to do quizzes or have this be a new AO3 or Wattpad with different things. People want to talk with other people who have the same interests as them, the same ideas as them, the same hobbies, likes, dislikes with them. . . The people that comfort you when you are in a sh!tty state and cheer you up. That's what people on Q liked about this platform, that it is so separated from being a regular quiz and books platform, that people can chat and make unique things with one another, that you can make lasting online friendships that rely on messages to talk with one another, that you can keep private info to yourself yet still make friends. By the end of the week, you will. . . run down from users, and guess what? probably the biggest communities on here are the RP and Kpop communities, and guess what those rely on? messages, groups, activities, etc. I can guarantee it because you are getting rid of things that make your platform unique, that it isn't like Wattpad or AO3. So why are you doing this Q? What told you this would be a good choice for users?
